Suggestions for a “listings directory” script with WordPress?

I need to make a “restaurant listings directory” for my client and embed it in WordPress. The admin area for the directory need not be in WordPress–we just need to use the same header and footer, so the directory needs to be written in PHP so we can dynamically embed it (don’t worry, I know how to do this already).

Does anyone have experience working with a good PHP listings script that can allow me to create fields for my client to start plugging in stuff like the restaurants’ names, locations, details, pics? In the past I use a heavily modifed version of Open-Realty (www.open-realty.org) to do the same for another client, but I don’t like how clunky it is and want another “listings” script that is easy to modify.
