• Hi there,

    How are you doing?

    Thanks for the plugin.

    Bug:

    1. When you save the content block, it erases the title.

    Suggestions:

    1. When you click on E-mail all users, I get a popup to confirm. Twice now we didn’t know that it was going to send it right this second and we made mistakes.
    2. Because there are two different save buttons, please label the differences so we know what they are for.
    3. Can you add (subject line) to the title field because we thought it was just for my eyes & I embarrassed myself by what I wrote.
    4. Please put the save button for the entire e-mail first because twice now on two different days we sent the e-mail to all users before saving.
    5. To send the same e-mail multiple times on different dates and days in the future.

    Thanks

    Hello ep2012,

Thanks for letting us know about the bug. Just so we have a better understanding of the situation, could you provide the exact instructions on how to create it? Each block has a single text area, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

    For the feature requests:

    1. There is a Send Test Email button/option that you can use if you’re uncertain/not ready to send the email yet.

    2. Are you referring to the save button for the individual blocks in the email body vs. the save button for the whole email? This uses the regular custom post type edit page, so the location of the regular save button (for the whole email/post) in the sidebar should be familiar to users of WordPress. Should we get more inquiries about this, though, we can perhaps look into changing the wording on it.

    3. That makes sense. We’ll look into changing the “Add title” placeholder to “Add subject” instead.

    4. Thanks for the suggestion. I understand what you’re saying, but it would seem to me that, at most, that would be a one-time mistake, after which you would recall the save-before-send requirement as well as the location of the save button. Nevertheless, should we get more inquiries about this, we can perhaps look into changing the location of it.

    5. Thanks for the suggestion. It’s unlikely that recurring emails will get added to this plugin. It doesn’t fit with the purpose or goal of the plugin. Nevertheless, should we get more demand for this, we can look into maybe implementing it in the future.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Bug: Maybe it was just a fluke at the time. If it happens again, I’ll let you know. We just tested it & it didn’t delete the subject line this time.

1, 2, & 4. Yes, I saw the test e-mail, but normally I don’t use that type of feature because I never have issues.

WP doesn’t have a save button, it has a “save draft” button, and it’s also the first button so it’s intuitive.

The issue is that it’s not intuitive and messy.

If the save button was there first before the send e-mail button, it would have saved us both times.

I may not remember about the save button because I won’t be using it often enough and my website coder had to figure it out for me because I didn’t understand it.

    Thanks for the rest.
