• For a free plugin, this one is surprisingly feature rich and well-designed. Thank you!

Here are some suggestions after using it for a few days:

    1. Filter on network e.g. to see how my posts have performed on a given social network only. Ideally this should be separate from the date filters, so you could use both simultaneously. I realize I can get this from the Data Export though, so that’s already helpful
    2. Use the filtered data in a widget – be able to generate theme widgets that list the top X results for a given filter, such as ‘trending today’ or ‘most shared this week’
    3. Data Export should be CSV, not XLS. In my case, I just renamed it CSV and opened it with tab separators and it worked fine
    4. If an article went viral on a specific network, it makes it very hard to mouseover the scores of the other networks in the score bar. It would be nice to have another view, or a link per article that opens a dropdown with full stats for that post alone so you don’t need to struggle with mouseover

If I think of anything else, I’ll add it here.

    Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback and compliments!

All of these suggestions sound like great ideas to me, and I’ve also been wanting to implement many of them for a while. The easiest of them all will be to switch to CSV instead of XLS (I hadn’t thought of that) so I’ll add that to my to-do list.

Maybe someday I’ll find the time to make a pro/upgraded version of the plugin to add fancy extra reporting features…..

but for now it’s just a slow process since this is just a side project. Pull requests on github are welcome though =)
