    1. The current version of the plugin uses post IDs as the bug IDs. This means that the number changes based on how many other items exist on the site (posts, pages, other custom post types). Changing the plugin around would be a significant amount of work since I would need to add support for a parallel numbering system, impacting the bug editor, display of bugs, and would also require implementing an update mechanism for older users to number old bugs. Older users would also need the option to display the old numbers or the new ones.

    2. Yes, I could implement a more compact bug list view.

    Point 1 would require a significant amount of my time to put in place and Bug Library is one of my least popular plugins, which does not inspire me to spend so much time on it. Will you not be able to use this plugin without these modifications? Would you be willing to fund these modifications through a significant donation? If not, would only getting point 2 implemented be enough to use the plugin?
