Suggestion: Would be nice to save settings

It would be nice if all the settings could be saved, either in database or a file. And later reloaded, of course.

I had to try various incantations, and I’m importing from three subsites with different formatting. So I often had to switch many of the settings in order to deal with different details. It would be nice to be able to save and restore certain settings.
