    Hi

In “UTM Tracking Settings” we can define static values.

My suggestion is to include some kind of “shortcode” maybe, where we can include dynamic values like categories, tags, etc.

For example, in my site we have some important categories, which subject are completely different from each other. One are news, the others have more technical info.

I would like to track using Analytics not only the source of this traffic (onesignal plugin), but the kind of text that originated it.

So, would be great to include, for instance: utm_medium=push&utm_source=notifications&utm_campaign=[category]

And inside Analytics I would be able to see if that traffic and consequent conversions were originated by a text in CATEGORY A or CATEGORY B, for instance.

    Thanks!
    Renan

  • Hey Renan,

This sounds like a great and useful idea. I don’t think we’d be able to develop this feature anytime soon. Our WordPress plugin is open source though, and we are taking open pull requests, so if someone else decides to contribute to this feature, we can merge it in with our plugin!

    Absolutely!
