    Hi,

    Featured image, main image and first image in slider is same image.

    I think it is better if the featured image is different, by using standard featured image.

    Actually, the plugin is developed according to the WordPress standard and basically, all the theme/plugin uses the Featured image to display in the slider and frontpage section.

    But in case of displaying it from the other location then one should go through the customization process.

    Thanks for the explanation.

    I concern about the duplication. I need the featured image to be different than in the gallery.
    Is there any way to exclude the first image in the gallery?

    Yes, definitely it possible to do so but to make the plugin work in such a way requires higher code customization as we need to work on multiple files.

    So you need to hire professionals for this.
