Suggestion: Remove W3TC_REF: _search_engines
-
Hi,
I suggest you remove the W3TC_REF: _search_engines – search engines and users should access the same page, else you could get a penalty, especially if the files are different and the page load for search engines will increase if they need to create their own cached page.
In the current development version W3TC created two different versions of the homepage with different sizes on my test system.
As far as I know you are not supposed to serve another file to search engines than you serve to users – it’s called cloaking ??
Anyway, why did you decide to add this REF anyway? I don’t see ANY advantage at all. In fact, I see lots of disadvantages and you have to deal with a lot more files.
Maybe you can clear things up a bit.
Thanks
Oliver
