• Hi there:

I’d like to suggest that for the notification that this plugin has:

“Thank you for installing Subscribe to Comments Reloaded!.
If you find a bug or an issue you can report it here.”

That a link is also included to this WordPress support forum in addition to the one on GitHub.

I think most WordPress users will have accounts for the WordPress support forum, but relatively few users (like myself), especially those who aren’t programmers, are going to want to create a GitHub account to report something when we don’t use GitHub for anything and can easily do it here with our already established WordPress account.

    Thank you. ??

  • I appreciate your suggestion, actually is hard to keep track of the issues. For me as developer is better to keep track and history of the source code and the best place to do it is on GitHub, this is why I urge the users to open the issues there, although I also take a look into the WordPress forums.

Also on GitHub I can share screenshots and videos without any problem, this is a great choice to enhance the support. Although the WordPress support forum improved , it is way behind the GitHub Forum.

The Best Option is to centralize all the tickets in one place, like a ZendDesk, but as you may notice the plugin is free and it does not have the budget to pay the ZenDesk fee.

    Thank you for your suggestion.
