Suggestion for image optimization

it is good if we have option to save only optimized image. For example i have need only
optimized version yourimage.jpg

without save backup or webp version
yourimage.bk.jpg
yourimage.jpg.webp

Yes i know without backup is not possible revert, but i no need revert. So is good to have option to enable or disable this, because i want only optimised images without backup or webp and no need revert option

Also now Image WebP Replacement option is set to OFF , but i receive webp version.
