Ability to set a goal for PDF download activities, and to then be able to track over time how many times that file is being downloaded in order to assess campaign effectiveness. This would only involve download numbers, user country, and when possible repeat downloads by the same user (e.g. unique downloads vs total downloads), but no personal individual user data needs to be tracked or collected otherwise, just the fact that they downloaded a specified PDF file.

    Hello @simeoncn,

How can users download the PDF file? Is it done by clicking a button?

As you may already know, we are currently working on incorporating goals, which is taking longer than expected. However, we expect to release it very soon. Unfortunately, tracking downloads is not yet possible, but you can track clicks on a download button, for instance. Would that be helpful for you?

Implementing user country as a separate feature is part of our plans, but it may also require some time to complete.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

My suggestions was for being able to track downloads from a normal link, in other words a file access stat or possibly a link click stat. There are other plugins for this, and for the button method, and I am using one now. However, it would be nice to have these stats available in our Burst Statistics dashboard.

    Hi @simeoncn,

I have added this to our feature requests. I think our upcoming Goals release will be almost sufficient for your needs, but please give feedback if that’s not the case.

I’ll close this request for now. Feel free to re-open or open a new support request.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel
