• Hi,

This is rather a suggestion than a bug, but maybe something you want to consider for future Tracks updates:

Would it be possible to use responsive images, more importantly resize the featured image before it get delivered to the front end? Currently it’s placed in a container “as is”, e.g. as uploaded to WordPress.
I think it would be great if the theme could include an automatic resize so the image is not bigger than a defined dimension.
Even better would be a solution using img-tags with scrset and sizes for different images depending on screen size / resolution.

    Some information on it: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn/HTML/Multimedia_and_embedding/Responsive_images

I think that would be a perfect addition to using Optimole as well!

Optimole can already do all of this on its own. It gets the dimensions of the image on screen and delivers an image of those exact same dimensions. This functionality is better served by a plugin than a theme.

Adding art direction so you could switch the image or perhaps customize the cropping would be very interesting, but this too is best left to a plugin like Optimole.

Ha, Optimole did not work for me properly as my site is still in maintenance mode, so it did not deliver the optimized image. If that changes as soon as the site is live, even better!
