• It appears that this plugin creates a custom post type named projects. Tareq, I would suggest changing the name of the CPT to something a little more ambiguous (for example (wppm_projects). The reason I am suggesting this is I assume many WordPress users (myself included) may have already created a ‘projects’ CPT or downloaded a theme that includes a projects CPT. With a large number of WordPress users being creatives, I imagine that this conflict would occur often. Thanks for your time, curious to hear your thoughts…

    That’s a valid point you’ve got. But changing the name will break current users, how to overcome this?

    Couldn’t a conditional rename function be placed in the newer version of the plugin to change the db table and any options named “project” or “Projects” to the new name if updating from an older version of the plugin? And then just a straight create db table on first time installs..??
