Suggestion: change menu to widget area

Hi

This is a really beautiful theme. Great job! I want to chose this for a small photoblogg project, but there is one thing I miss: the ability to change the content in the overlay triggered by the hamburger menu.

As it is now it shows the menu, which I suppose is fine for a lot of users. But since I don’t have any other pages than homepage, this is redundant. Would you consider either adding the option to change the function to show a widget area, or change it all together to a widget area (where you can choose to only show a menu anyway).
