• Though I know you can bulk resize form the plugin’s settings page, it’d be nice if you could access a regenerate option under the “Bulk” menu in the Media Library itself, so you can use it’s filtering capabilities to target specific batches of images.

On large sites, I often use a plugin like Enhanced Media Library that provides media categorization and sometimes need to regenerate a category of images for a particular Gallery or something like that.

Note: I tried using the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin with Image Regenerate & Select Crop, to get this functionality, but it doesn’t use the latter’s crop settings when regenerating the thumbnails.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Actually, the bulk regenerate seems to often stop after the first 100 or 200 images, so a selective, filterable bulk option via the media library would be great to have.

Or perhaps your plugin can work with the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin somehow to use the set default crops?

    Hi,
Have you tried running the regenerate from command line (wp-cli extension of the plugin)?
You can filter the images in command line.

No. I’m not familiar with using the command line interface, and don’t generally have shell access to do so in this environment.
