• I would like to suggest that atleast in the upcoming versions either in WP 3.9 or in the next one, having one link for “https://your-domain/wp-admin/profile.php” is sufficient enough at the top right corner if users logged into their accounts.

We have been seeing that there are three links at the top right corner in the back end pointing to the same profile link.

Those three links associated with text displays at top right corner after logged in to wp back end are as follows.
    1. Howday, user-name
    2. Display name followed by login user name
    3. Edit my Profile

    This won’t happen by 3.9.

Is that really a big issue? I mean, we have three because people click on different things.

Yes! I completely agree with you as it is not a big issue. Since we do get the same profile interface on clicking those three links, I have been puzzled to find why they present at same place without getting any different out put?

WP changed its image from blogging platform to CMS. And I am a big fan of WP because of its simplicity in administration and developing a website. I would like to see the same in WP in future developments too. I think its wise enough to have a meaningful and single link rather having three links at a single place of interface which serve the same purpose.

Thank you very much for immediate response straight to the point. Have a great day brother.
