• Hey,

So I recently switched from using Imgix to using Photon in WordPress.

It’s an awesome service, but there are a few things missing that would make the plugin truly great, mainly that there are no tools to make better use of the Photon API, which has a ton of features, but they can’t be accessed from the WordPress dashboard, resulting in a waste.

It would be great if you guys could add some cropping and editing tools that allow us to take advantage of the API, without having to write our own code, as after all, that’s what WordPress is about.

It would be great if these tools could resemble something like the ILAB Media Tools tools plugin, which adds these tools right into WordPress but focuses on Imgix.

    Similar to this:

Let me know if that is at all possible, maybe even add it to WordPress as a whole?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Thanks for the feedback!

That would be possible, but it’s currently not on our roadmap. However, we’ll definitely look at what other tools like the plugin you mentioned do whenever we decide to iterate on the Photon module and how to integrate it in the dashboard.
That is, if no one decides to build their own plugin to leverage the Photon API before we do! ??
