Suggestion – Auto Exclude /wp-json (Jetpack)

  • I was having a lot of trouble getting this plugin to play well with Jetpack. With the default settings I would keep getting the following error when trying to change any of the Jetpack settings

    Error updating settings. Error: Cookie nonce is invalid

    Eventually I was able to figure out that adding “/wp-json/*” to the ‘Do not logout on URLs’ setting eliminated the issue since Jetpack uses the REST API to interact with the settings and not the typical wp-admin process.

    It would be nice if this was setup by default, or if there was some documentation on it for other Jetpack users.
