    As in the title:
Is it possible to always use the fallback on desktop?
Most browsers do now accept web share, most user sadly don’t use/understand it on desktop.

On mobile it’s not an issue as all apps do integrate with web share.

    Hi @freakenstein

Thanks a lot for trying out the small plugin and also for taking the time to share your feedback.

Right now, our plugin checks whether the browser supports Web Share API or not; if the fallback is enabled within our plugin, we show the fallback on those browsers which are not supporting Web Share API. Most of the desktop browsers started supporting the Web Share API on desktop (some are under some flags), so until then, we recommend you to have the fallback enabled so that you can have the fallback work on the non-supported devices for your customers.

We added your suggestion to our internal list on how we can improve our plugin.

A quick update for you about our upcoming version: The next version is in the final testing stage to have more controls with a share button for each post type and post. We’re sure that people like you will surely like it.

If you have more suggestions, please do share with us.
