Suggestion: Admin menu notifications

    Would be nice if the plugin could optional show notifications on the Admin menu, like you see when Updates are pending, which shows the number of waiting updates as a numeric value, on a solid circular background.

    Not sure that actually makes sense, since you can have an infinite number of statuses for a post. So how could you possibly add multiple “circles” onto the admin menu for all the various types of statuses?

    The “summary” part is also not the intention of this plugin, it was specifically designed for the Listing screen only.

    I know there is a Plugin that adds these “summary” items to the “At A Glance” Dashboard area (on the login landing page).

    Clarification: Glance That supports custom post types and can display standard post statuses. However, it doesn’t support custom post statuses as those are not very well supported by core, yet. It does have good integration with the Post State Tags plugin.
