    Please add a custom link url field for the privacy policy section.

    Some people have there Privacy Policy as a media file .pdf, and not a page.

    So please can you add a custom field url so that we can enter in the url of the media file.

  • Why would you request that? Who wants to have to download a PDF for viewing a standard policy anyway?
    Why don’t you put a link to your PDF on the policy page instead?

    You could argue and say why don’t you just add a 301 redirect to the .pdf but that would be stupid Franck.

    Would be easier to add a field for a custom url.

    Some clients, especially law companies/business’s have to display them as a PDF.

    Sorry I didn’t mean to be rude at all. It’s just that it’s usually a drag to have to download a PDF only to read a 1 or 2 pages text.
    Now I understand that some businesses want a PDF and I think a simple link to your PDF on the policy page is the way to go.
    Also common practice is to warn the visitor that the link they’re about to click is a PDF and to indicate what size the document is. Again, the best way to do this is a proper page with a download link. My humble opinion.
