• Hi

first of all I have to say that your plugin is great!

I just wanted suggest some improvements, if it is possilbe:

    1. In the plugin backend you can input the show name only. From my point of view there should be an additional field: NAME OF THE SPEAKER.
I solved this, entering in “Show Details -> Name”, the show name and the speaker name separated by comma. Then I modified the joan.js file and I split these 2 informations. Result is visible on https://www.rtr99.it

    2. Since the operation of writing/modifing all show of all week is an operation quite long, when there are some special days (for example Christmas, Easter etc…) in which most of the radiostations are used to change their schedule. I think that it is important that in your plugin there could be an additional section in which write the schedule of these days in order to keep the standard schedule.
At the moment I have to delete in corresponence of a particular day then I have to rewrite the schedule and then, at the end of that day, I have to rewrite the normal schedule.

    THANKS!!!

  • I second both of these ideas. Being able to put the announcer in the information would be excellent, as would the schedule over ride function to over ride certain days without harming the main schedule. ??

    Thanks for the suggestions
#1. Is a good idea we’re in the process of considering ideas for the next major release and will look at all suggestion.

#2. You don’t have to delete your schedule for the day to accommodate a temp event go to Joan settings and click on Display Options change the Off Air Message to, then click on Turn off and set Joan to Off. Save all changes your website will now display the name of your temp show and what’s coming up next, when you’re done simply set Joan back to on.
