    Thank you for the suggestion. This sounds more like tooltip behaviour. Opening a new window in the way the alligator popup plugins work would probably be too slow for a good user experience if it was possible to control the popup window via a hover event.

    I could probably make such a plugin, but with a div overlay acting as a pseudo window, however I don’t think it would be something that a lot of people would need, so I would only be able to justify spending any time on it if I needed something like that for one of my own projects (which is unlikely) or if someone commissioned the work.
