Hi, thanks for the great plugin.

When creating new user passwords, via the admin or lost password requests, it appears that the WordPress randomly generated password suggestion does not always meet the Wordfence strong password requirements, which confuses users.

Does Wordfence provide an alternative function to generate password suggestions that do meet the strong password requirements?

    Hi @amibe,

Thanks for reaching out! Wordfence doesn’t include its own password generator.? We do have an open case to make the password requirements more visible, as well as making it clearer what those requirements are.

If you currently enforce strong passwords for all users, you may find it helpful to use the Force admins and publishers to use strong passwords option for Enforce strong passwords instead, which is our recommended setting.  You can find this in Wordfence > All Options > Brute Force Protection.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,
    Margaret
