Suggested for SportPress Calendar: Last Played, Next Unplayed, and Upcoming

    Hi everyone,

    First of all, thank you for the amazing work on the SportPress plugin!

    I’d like to suggest a small feature enhancement for the Calendar section. In addition to the current time-based filtering options, it would be incredibly helpful to have a setting that allows selecting:

    1. The?last match?played,
    2. The?next match?that hasn’t been played yet,
    3. The?upcoming match?after that.

    This would be useful for tracking these three matches (last played, next unplayed, and one following) on a homepage section, ensuring it updates automatically after entering a match result—without needing to manually adjust dates.

    Hi there @simogiansa ,

    You can achieve what you want with shortcodes. For example:

    1. The last match played: [event_list status="publish" number="1" order="DESC"]
    2. The next match that hasnt played yet [event_list status="future" number="1" order="ASC"]
    3. The upcoming match after that is tricky. But you can show the next two matches instead [event_list status="future" number="2" order="ASC"]

    Hi @savvasha ,

    Thank you for your response! The shortcodes for the last match and the next match work perfectly.

    However, regarding the upcoming match, it shows both the next and the one after that, instead of just the match following the next.

    Is there no way to display only the match immediately after the next one?

    I am afraid this is not possible right now, without some custom code. One possible shortcut will be to hide the first game with some css code.
