    Hello Yoast Team,

    Friendly suggest here,
and sorry if the question was already posted.
Feel free to copy-past your standard answer about this.

    ___

    1. Google truncate title based on its width
    1. in the Yoast Title field, we can get an estimation, where the Title would be truncated

But since the Google TitleGate, the Yoast estimation (title max size => green bar), is very Wrong.

Google Truncate title so shorter than Yoast SEO is saying… sometimes, even before 57 characters! ??

For this specific Title, Yoast SEO allow me up to 67?characters (10 over the right Google limit, almost 20% too long estimation, on green bar)

I would really like to be able to rely on your plugin, based on the right width size, despite of counting the characters for each Titles I write.

    Thanks! ??

    Hi @onico0

We understand you have a concern regarding the SEO title length and width.

Rather than the number of characters, it’s really more about the pixels and the width of the title. You can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/page-titles-seo/#width-vs-length

With that being said, could you provide us with an example where you’ve set an SEO title in the Yoast SEO title field and it has the ‘green’ score in terms of length, but is truncated or cut off in the actual search results so we can try and check on this?
