• Hello,

    Thanks for developing one of my favorite plugin for years!
    I regularly use BSR to migrate websites (find and replace the /wordpress/path/ immediately after migration).

    When transferring websites, we often must to work on the new server, by locally pointing the DNS / IP from the /etc/hosts file… that mean, Without Valid SSL Certificate.

    Then, the expected behavior is : we got an SSL Error > we say to Google?Chrome that we want to continue to the unsecure website (finally getting the unsecure icon on the Chrome ominobox) > can work on the new server already without SSL

    But randomly with BSR,
    for some WordPress sites, I cannot use BSR if the SSL Certificate is not yet delivered!

    The error say instantly :
    Try decreasing the “Max Page Size”
    (but BSR say this for any error I ever seen^^)

    I checked and the wp-admin is not forced for SSL :
    FORCE_SSL_ADMIN = false

    Installing a Let’s?Ecrnypt certificate immediately solve the issue in such case… so I wonder if BSR have some troubles, in some case, when the SSL is not yet delivered? (difficult to reproduce as, when the website is migrated, the internal task is immediately closed)

    But It help BSR users to save time, to show any kind for explicit “error” message despite of “Max Page Size” error in this case, is not it?

    Thanks a lot for all your work on BSR
    (database operations is not something easy^^)

    Sorry, I’ve forget to say that, using the debug mode, nothing is printed by BSR in the error_log or debug.log.

    Also, nothing in the Dev Console, no JS error.
