    Hi

    I installed the excellent plugin, and entered the SMTP info in the wp contact add on and it worked like a charm. Then today, testing it again I receive no email when I test from this contact page using the form. Using the test email function does give me a succesful test email.

    I am pretty stucked, and dont know how to get it up and running again.

    Hi @jakobemils,

    If you were able to send a test email successfully, it sounds like your WP Mail SMTP settings are all set. The next step from here is to check the notification settings of your form.

    Specifically, the From Email field in the form notification settings (in the WPForms form builder under Settings > Notifications) must be set to the same email address as the email used to set up the SMTP plugin. If you have more than one form, this setting will need to be changed in each form.

    Alternatively, we have an even easier option — rather than adjusting this setting within each individual form, you can simply go to WP Mail SMTP > Settings and check the box labeled Force From Email. This will enforce the same From Email site-wide.

    Hi, I am having the same problem. I have done what you suggested and still not getting the messages sent. However, if I go to the individual entries in the pro version and click “resend notification” it sends successfully immediately.
