Suddenly, without any modification, stopped being able of sending emails…

Hey everyone!
It’s a quick question… What do you think if suddenly any email stopped being send? It was working, there was no update to a higher version of wordpress or version of the pluggin… I began thinking it could be any Gmail’s new protocol to stop accepting this type of services or something… because it’s not even going to spam, trash or whatever… Even a simple and easy experiment that I made just with the function mail(); it’s not sending…
Can someone give me an explanation? Or try to think of any possibility? Please? ??
