Suddenly Upload Error with lots of ../../

  • Hi there,

    the upload of images did work smoothly over the last months. No problem. Suddenly, and I dare to say that I didn’t touched a thing – besides perhaps one or two efforts to eliminate the possibility of posting comments, which I’ve done purely via the GUI -… suddenly, when I click on “upload”, it tells me this:

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /is/htdocs/wp1010529_VVSEGYPQJL/www/same_same//../../../../../../../../../../../../../../../../../tmp.

    What is it? Where does it come from? Did someone hack the server?

  • sounds like the same hack that got me a few days ago check your upload folder setting if it a bunch of “/../../../../” action its the security hold in wordpress (which version are you running)

    Thanks. Looked like indeed this was the problem. However, I have now in my RSS feed those links to Viag. and other stuff… How can I get rid of that? Any ideas?
