Suddenly stopped working

    The Private Pages are no longer opening. I go to “Users” and click on any user’s private page and I get this error message – (Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.)
    I get the same error when I click on “Login”, but the register link works.

    I recently added the free WP SSL and also tried switching to PHP “Edge” and PHP 7.0 and this is about the time the private pages stopped working.

    Any ideas/solutions to get working again?

    The problem you’re describing is probably related to the WP SSL plugin.

    Try disabling that to see it functionality returns. If it does, then you may want to investigate the proper way to switch your site to use SSL, which sometimes means performing a search and replace on the database to replace the https:// protocol on the links with https://
