Thanks for reaching out @romanbiswas512, appreciate you sharing confirming of your settings also.

If you’re finding that images that you upload do not have a WebP version, it’s possible that these images are already optimized and low in file size. In such cases there may not be a WebP version generated, as the file size may be great that your already optimized image.

To check whether this was the cause, can you try and upload another image that is not optimized and check once more to see if a WebP is generated?

@jamesosborne thanks for your quick response.

I just tried uploading a bigger size, non-optimized image but the result is the same. https://prnt.sc/3UFVXNfK9xlx

Is there something else that I should check?

Appreciate you checking this. Can you perform a check by uploading this image, which is an unoptimized JPEG. Please upload via your media uploader. After doing so please open the image from your media loader and share what you see. Hopefully you will find similar to what I see below, with the image defined as a WebP.

Should the image remain as a standard JPEG we can perform some checks using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. Before doing so please share your Site Health information. You can paste the contents directly into a response here if you wish, while removing any site URL if you don’t wish to include this.
