Suddenly Receiving Image uploading error

  • If I go to the image uploader I receive the following Error.

    ” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to “

    I’ve read all of the previous help about, changing permissions, deleting and re-creating folders, all that Jazz, I’ve tried them all, and no matter what I do, nothing works.

    One thing i’ve noticed is most, if not all of these people also looking for help on this subject recently changed server, or updated, or some other similar end. I have not touched my files nor changed server. It was literally a case of worked yesterday, woke up, now it doesn’t.

    I’ve tried everything I could find with a Google search, and nothing seems to work, so im stumped and would like any suggestions.

  • What’s your filename? A filename with spaces or any special characters might be causing the problem..

    Hi, the filename is cablecar.jpg , but i’ve tried it on a variety of names and formats. All fail.

    I have just attempted to upload a image with a totally fresh install of the newest WordPress with EVERYTHING set to 777, and I still get this error. Any suggestions?!
