Suddenly no more results for hashtag search

  • I am using a rule by search and search for the hashtag #zuku14 and include it in my template by

    <?php echo do_shortcode( "[fetch_tweets tag='zuku']" ); ?>

    I never had any problems. Suddenly i get the error “No results could be fetched.” without having changed anything.
    This happens only for this specific search term. When I change the search term to something else everything works as expected. Is there a problem with the search api?

    I already updated from version 2.4.1 to 2.4.5. I also updated the rotator template to the current version without any luck.

    Would be glad if anyone could help me with this strange problem.

    I guess you are encountering the same issue reported in this topic.

    I’m thinking about changing the caching mechanism of the plugin so that it won’t discard previously fetched results. But it is something that takes time to code. If you need it really soon, shoot me an email.
