Suddenly customizer broken: won’t open child theme

    I’ve been successfully using the OceanWP child theme for months on a site I’m building, including extensive use of the customizer. Today I tried to open the customizer so I could add some CSS and it shows nothing, just the empty sidebar where all the child theme settings should be. The same thing (blank screens) happens if I try the Live Preview of OceanWP or Twenty nineteen theme.

    Is this maybe related to the recent WordPress update? Is there something I need to change related to the OceanWP child theme? It’s a very big problem to lose access to the customizer!

    Found the fix. I’m sharing this info just in case anyone else runs into this issue. My Customizer and my media gallery stopped working when using the OceanWP child theme. They appeared broken and were just showing blank screens. WordPress and OceanWP were all up to date. The problem was resolved when I updated a plugin called Post Duplicator.
