All of a sudden (was ok yesterday) I cannot log in at all.

I go to my normal log in page, put in my details and it just goes back to the log in page. No errors unless I try it with a fake username or password.

I have even tried changing my password twice but no, just sits there.

Have removed any plugins that I have put on over the past month (although as I say it worked fine yesterday) but no, nothing works I cannot get in to my own site.

Right, thats what is happening now, the ONLY difference to my site is I have opened a community area in a subdomain (the wordpress is on the root). They are on different databases.

It isnt just me, its other members too

    https://1stangel.co.uk is the wordpress
    https://community.1stangel.co.uk is the SMF board

Ok this is a Firefox issue.

Seems the latest firefox has not been storing things properly and is now deleting cookies too.

Used Chrome and logged in fine.

    Thanks ??

Have removed any plugins that I have put on over the past month (although as I say it worked fine yesterday) but no, nothing works I cannot get in to my own site.

    to start with, try:

-deactivating all plugins. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the cause.

If you don’t have access to to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

if you could log in yesterday on firefox and not today and you log in fine with chrome then try deleting cookies and try logging in.

I have tried installing and reinstalling and it just does the same. I may try Flock, I believe I tried it once before and don’t remember why I gave it up

Thank you both for your responses. I appreciate it.

    Please help

If you are familiar with database log in on server click myphpadmin and click on your database and you will see database tables scroll down and wp-users click on first icon browse and you will see your users what do you have you as.

The ONLY other thing that I did was I tried to upgrade the voucherpress. As it is so big it wouldn’t and locked the site in maintenance mode. I managed to get it out of that but it left a message saying that there was an unfinished upgrade (still there actually) So I tried uploading the new version but nothing changed and now I have tried deleting voucherpress but Im still locked out of supera dmin and now cannot log in ??
