• On two of the three websites that I had mytickets installed on- at 8:30ish pm last night (EDT) I began receiving multiple emails out of no where about old ticket sales events that had been closed out over 6 months ago or more. The emails were about ticket sales being closed for events that had ended a long time ago. (ticket sales for “Insert Old Event Here” are now closed) and it included a link to the report.

I started receiving them over and over again for every event in the past- I had over 20 emails from one website and then as soon as I disabled the plugin for (isdoneonta.org) I started receiving them for a different website I built (shiftnewyork.com). I had another website that used mytickets and I disabled it before myself and my clients could be inundated with any more bug emails.

I can’t be the only one this happened to. I’m glad I caught it before it suspended my email accounts.

I have the latest version installed (2.06) and latest version of My Calendar installed if that helps) 3.5.19

  • You are not alone. I have received many emails today about old events being closed.

@mickwall ha ha! I KNEW it! I figured this is a bug and that Joe is probably being inundated with messages about it. For now I’ll just have it disabled until he releases the bugfix.

I also had a barage of emails and also noticed that the shortcode stopped working, which I had on my box office page. I have reverted back to 2.0.0 and it worked again. So there is definitely a bug introduced in the latest version as of now (2.0.5).

Yes, I corrected an incorrectly named variable, but didn’t anticipate the fact that because a function now worked that hadn’t worked before, it would retroactively do a bunch of things it should have done long ago…

It will only happen once per ticket type, however, so by the time I’m able to get an update out, it may be irrelevant.
