• I am using a child theme to add mostly to the footer and some Google code to the header. Everything was and has been working. Until I checked it today.

The site description is freakin’ huge. I check the CSS and I have a font color change for the .tagline but nothing else that touches it. And I thought the site title was visible before but it isn’t there now.

I use a static front page (the entire site is page only).

I have an avatar (not gravatar).

To test things, I removed everything from the child CSS and it didn’t change.

Switched to the parent theme and the font is correct, the site title is there, avatar is missing.

So what can I do to fix this? I just did a major overhaul of the site and had all the kinks fixed. And now this. I’m not going to have any hair left.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Paula,

Thanks for using Author. I’m sorry to hear about this new error.

I checked the site and I don’t see the same issue, so I’m unsure if you’ve found a solution already or if our browsers are producing different results (screenshot).

One thing I noticed when looking at the site is that there is an issue with how the icon font used for the social icons is being loaded (screenshot). The fonts can’t be loaded from the StackPath CDN domain or they’ll get blocked by a browser security filter.
