• Hello,
are there any known compatibility issues with Sucuri, Wordfence or GOTMLS anti-malware plugins? Especially in regards to blocking Wordfence and Sucuri SCANS. It is really only the Scans. Access to the site itself is not affected. The Sucuri firewall is not activated. Only the Wordfence and GOTMLS firewals are activated. But in Wordfence, Sucuri is whitelisted and when I deactivate GOTMLS the problem remains. The problem only came up after installing Sucuri and GOTMLS. Only the scan functions of Sucuri and WordPress are not working and return a “503 service unavailable” error. Access to my site as such seems not to be affected. Any idea?

Is there a reason to use Wordfence, GOTMLS, and the Sucuri plugin at the same time? You can use Wordfence and drop GOTMLS and Sucuri since Wordfence has the same hardening features and scanning features as GOTMLS and Sucuri. Also, Wordfence comes with a free firewall (can upgrade to premium). Surely, using all those security plugins would be stress on your server resources.

I use Admin Tools with Sucuri, alongside Modsecurity, CXS and Config Server Security on my Litespeed Server. I run only the minimal rules in Admin Tools and only have not had issues.

Yeah, I use ModSec and Sucuri Firewall along with CSF as well. Besides using the Sucuri plugin for it’s hardening features and to connect the Firewall API, the other two Firewalls are a WAF via server config(ModSec) and an actual server firewall(CSF). They aren’t website plugins. Which, I don’t understand why Wordfence, GOTMLS and Sucuri are being used. If looking to use just Sucuri plugin without premium firewall, to use it for the hardening and monitoring, Wordfence does the exact same thing and gives you a firewall for free. You can even upgrade to premium to get more options and quicker updates to the firewall. Same with GOTMLS. I feel like it’s server overkill and future conflicting problems will be annoying.

    Just my .02 cents.
