    Hi,

Got your download, made a donation, presenting running scans, and the scans keep running out of memory.

Sucuri is showing I have the MWSPAMSEO malware in some 6 files and your system keeps showing I have some problems (not the same as shown in Sucuri), but there appears to be no way for your scanner to to quarantine or fix what it finds. Right now it is showing a “potential threat” but I have no way to mark this as problematic – but I do have the option to white-list it (which of course I am not going to do…)

We have some 240 Viagra / Cialis / Levitra type spam pages coming from a wp-blog directory on our site showing in Google that show dates in 2012 but have cache dates for Feb 2015.

I thought I got this fixed a year ago, but these pages seem to have come back.

I believe I am seeing lots of base64 references in the source code and that’s what I would be looking at were I doing this manually.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks!

The “potential threat” are usually not malicious. Those should not be “fixed” unless you can confirm that they are the cause of your infection.

If there is not enough memory to run a Quick Scan then you should try the Complete Scan.

My plugin should find some “Known Threats” or “Back-doors” in Red that it can automatically fix for you.

Eli solved the problem. Awesome. What great customer service!!!

Realized I needed to use FTP to clean up a few files and the /wp-blog/ directory that contained all the left over files.

Used WP File Manager. Works like a champ!
