    I’ve just installed the Sucuri Security plugin on my site. The blue button is not showing on the plugin dashboard. The dashboard General Settings state “Sucuri API Key (not set)” with a “Recover” button. I have not received any emails with an API Key.

    Most of the tools in this plugin can be used without a specific configuration, but the core features require an API key to communicate with the Sucuri services. The key is generated using your administrator e-mail and the domain of this site, this will allow you to have access to our free monitoring tool forever even if you remove the API key and generate it again.

  • Me to when I click the generate api button it doesn’t sends me the email of it, can anyone fix this problem!

    I added new information in the plugin to explain the users with issues like yours how to generate an API key; this information will be available when the public version of the plugin is released, the commit in itself is this [1]; for the time being you can request a free key at info@sucuri.net specifying the domain name and email address that you want to use for the association with the API service.
