    Hi –

I use the Sucuri server-side scanner, and it’s giving me an outdated WordPress version warning, because of this file in the plugin:

    /tiny-compress-images/test/wp-includes/version.php

That file has this line: $wp_version = '4.6-alpha-37595'; , which causes Sucuri’s scanner to think there’s an old version of WordPress in that folder. (I asked them if they could whitelist your version.php file to avoid the warning, but they said no.)

Can you please update the version noted in the plugin so it’s the current WordPress version? Or better yet, maybe change it so it’s not so easily confused with the WordPress /wp-includes/version.php file?

    Thanks!

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the additional information. We have a fix pending to be released with the next update of the plugin.

We’ll make sure it also resolves the alert from iThemese Security.

Hey, just wanted to check in on this. Is there a timetable for this? We’re getting alerts from our iThemes Security scans (powered by Securi)
