    2016:

I believe it beats all other event plugins in terms of features. It integrates well with your theme and if it doesn’t you’ll receive prompt assistance from the support team. The only cons is that updates come with a yearly subscription. So, purchasing it is not enough.

    2021

change of ownership and plugin refurbishment has ruined the import feature. The plugin is/has:
    – not capable to merge import existing events
    – not capable to import feat-image, slugs
    – not capable of reading UTF-8
    – forced all addresses to be venues
    – fails to map data to metaboxes
    – has problems with maps and modals
    – not capable to bulk delete more than 50 posts
…with all conseguences on both frontend and backend. If some years ago a yearly subscription was putting me off, today it’s not even worth the product.

MY UPDATED (HONEST) REVIEW: find another plugin

Do you have recurring events and/or need to update them at will? Do you intend to do business calendarizing events and not play around? Find another plugin. With this new version (new ownership) you get nice supportive people but a useless event calendar. Problems can be a theme conflict, or coding standards not properly followed, or “we don’t offer customization”, or simply “we don’t know”. You will end up with not being able to import any updated record but manually change each one. If you can afford that, you’re lucky. My only luck was to be offered the update with a discount, which of course tempted me to update a plugin I used over 4 years without any problem. Now I’m forced to look for some other event manager because downgrading is not possible.
