Success/Already Sub'd msgs not displaying

  • I’ve just upgrade to WP 4.0 and also upgraded MC4WP Lite to version 2.1.3

    When testing the plugin, it doesn’t display the “Success Message” or “Already subscribed message”. Instead it moves to the website’s home page (from the Contact Us page). I’ve cleared the “Redirect to URL…” entry, and also set it to 0, but this doesn’t affect anything.

    I know this worked last time I tested it, ie it showed the messages, and didn’t go to the home page, but I can’t say when I last tested it so whether the upgrade stopped it working or whether it was broken before.

    Any help would be gratefully received

    Hey Danny,

    Any update on this? Also running WP4.0 & MC4WP Lite to version 2.1.5 and the site still does not display Success or Email Already Subscribed notifications. On form submit, user is redirected to homepage even though redirect is set to 0. Link.

    Just installed your plugin on WordPress 4 installation and see similar behavior: no message about success or failure, just moving back to the main page. No mails received and no activity seen on mailchimp. Any pointers?

    I’m having the same problem. No “success” message displayed. Otherwise, I have no issues with the unwanted redirect.
