Success message not showing

  • Hello-
    I’m using Post SMTP to send my “contact me” emails via gmail. I’m also using Contact Form 7. The emails get sent properly, but the success message does not show to the user, just the spinning wheel. Maybe a css or js conflict here?

    Contact Form 7 version 4.7
    Post SMTP version 2.1.6

  • sending cf7 call causes error 500 (Internal Server Error).

    try uploading a standard .htaccess file to the root of your site (make a backup first).
    if there are no changes, pay attention to the logs SMTP plugin, and also try to deactivate the plugin SMTP and test the contact form
