    Hello,

I created 3 contact forms for the 3 languages of a WPML multilanguage website. As I have 3 languages, I translated the default English “Success Message” on the corresponding Form Settings pages into Hungarian and German, too. However, I cannot translate the confirmation e-mail into different languages or change the default message.

I cannot change this text, not even with WPML string translation.

    “Hi xxx.
    Thanks for your email.
We’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
Here’s a summary of your message:”

Update: Sorry, I found it in the “Form Processors”.

Actually, I haven’t even known that Caldera uses Auto Response by default. It is a bit hidden feature in the menu system. A client replied to one of my auto response e-mails yesterday, that’s how I found it out.

Auto Response shouldn’t be enabled by default, it is a bad practice:

Why you shouldn’t use email autoreplies
