    Hi

I really appreciate this plugin, and I’m wondering if you’re open to other developers contributing. Also curious if you’re open to hosting the code on GitHub, which is the ideal platform for allowing contributions like these.

I found a bug in my website where the success message was being displayed as soon as you viewed the volunteer opportunity form. This was because the .success class was already being defined and used elsewhere on my site.

I pulled the source code into a GitHub repository and created a pull request to show changes that fixed this issue: https://github.com/marcDeSantis/wired-impact-volunteer-management/pull/1

If there’s an alternate way to make contributions to the plugin, please let me know!

    Thanks
    Marc

Thanks for reaching out Marc. We would love to have folks contributing to the plugin! I’ve added to our list in the near future to put the plugin on Github so others can contribute. Right now it’s a private repo on Bitbucket, but obviously that’s not great for collaboration.

As far as the class name, I’m a little torn. While the class name “success” might not be helpful for some sites, others might have styling on that class that they would prefer be used by the plugin.

Let me know what you think and have a great day.

Per your suggestion Marc we have officially moved the plugin to Github at https://github.com/wiredimpact/wired-impact-volunteer-management. If you have any changes please feel free to shoot along a pull request.

Thanks again for bringing this up. We’re excited to have others contribute.
