Success in fixing problem of images not appearing in Twitter cards

  • In the now-closed thread I’ve linked to, I reported that images were not appearing in Twitter cards. Other people reported having the same issue. Today I fixed the problem by putting the following at the top of my robots.txt file: 

    User-agent:Twitterbot
Disallow:

    Images are now appearing normally!

    I’m sharing this in case it helps anyone else.
