Hello,

I want to give away a free product if the cart value is over 30$, to achieve this I use “Conditions Relationship” where I set “Subtotal” to be “Greater than or equal ( >= )” 30$. The problem is if the customer inputs a coupon code and now he has to pay 20$ instead of those 30$ the free product is still given away.

Is there a way to make it so the condition returns true only if the cart value is 30$ or more? If after applying the coupon code the price is lower than 30$ then no free product should be given away.

I know it is possible to provide a free product based on cart subtotal and I have read the documentation.

The documentation doesn’t say anything about what happens if a customer applies a random woocommerce coupon code and now instead of 30$ the customer has to pay 20$.
The problem is that this plugin still sees subtotal as 30$ instead of 20$ and gives away free a product.

On my website, the coupon codes that give for example 30% off the price are created through woocommerce and not your plugin.

I can open a support ticket there if absolutely necessary, but I was hoping to get a straight answer here in case someone else has the same problem.

Thanks for the detailed screenshots. Really appreciate it.

As we said earlier, our plugin applies discount/ add free product based on cart subtotal.

Since woocommerce coupon applies discount after subtotal (?10.34), free product will be added (ie..,cart subtotal is ?34.46) . So sorry about it.

Workaround solution:

You can create zero value woocommerce coupon and integrate it via price based rules like product adjustment.

Here is the steps by step configuration:
* Go to Woocommerce -> Coupons, and create your coupon code.
* Set the percentage discount to 0 value -> https://nimb.ws/Yaxt4l
* Now, you can integrate it via discount rules -> https://nimb.ws/9YMjL3

* So that discount (10% off coupon) will get reflected on cart subtotal and from discounted subtotal next rule will be applied (buy X get Y).
