Subtitles not appearing in category pages

I use GeneratePress and asked the developer about this. He said:

Hmm, that shouldn’t apply to GeneratePress, as the_title() is present within the loop: https://github.com/tomusborne/generatepress/blob/2.0.2/content.php#L34

So that doesn’t seem to apply.

Can you post the link to a post that contains a subtitle but doesn’t show up on your archive page? I’ll give it a look tomorrow. Thanks so much.

Ok. If it’s not showing in code view but showing in your editor then let me clone that theme repo and see what might be going on. I’ll let you know today!
